Communities First Llangeinor
Cymunedau Yn Gyntaf Llangeinor

Communities First is a long term Welsh Assembly funded project which aims to improve the opportunities and quality of life for those living and working in the ward of Llangeinor, which includes Pont-yr-hyl, Lluest and the Braich-y-Cymmer area.

The Communities First programme enables local people to decide what is needed to regenerate their community and to realise their own potential. This work can help in facing issues such as local unemployment, low pay, poor health and well being, lack of opportunities in education and learning and address improvements in community safety and public services.

There is still a lot of work to be done and changes will not happen over night, however with the help of the community we can continue to work towards achieving these goals.
